Chinese Film

The introduction of the policies of China’s reform and opening to the outside world brought about a flourishing cinema industry, and talented directors, actors and actresses have emerged in large members. The period from the mid -1980s to the early 1990s is often referred to as the second climax of the development of Chinese cinema. 
A number of excellent films, such as Heroes and Zhou Enlai were produced.

Many films advocated patriotism, collectivism and seeking a happy life through honest labor such as A World Without Thieves.

Outstanding examples of these are The Great Turning Point, The Opium War and The Assembly. 

Also Popular are films about good people, good deed such as In the Days Since I Left Lei Feng.


More and more popular foreign films were introduced to China. These films have aroused the interest of Chinese audiences, brought profits to movie industry, and inspired the artistic creation of Chinese film producers as well as directors and actors and actresses.
